Recorded at the Hippodrome, Golders Green, London with the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Barry Wordsworth. This is a recording of the music for the David Bintley ballet 'Still Life' at The Penguin Café. Eight PCO classics orchestrated by Simon for the original Royal Ballet performance.
The ballet is now part of the permanent repertoire of the Royal Ballet and has become a TV programme and a commercial video. The record also features four further pieces of PCO music, orchestrated by Simon and played by the BBC Concert Orchestra.
